Connect WebWMS2U to Zapier
Complete these steps once for each WhatsApp connection you want to use.
Create a WebWMS2U account
Start a free trial or sign in to your existing WebWMS2U account. API keys must be created from an active account and can be revoked whenever required.
Connect your WhatsApp number
In the dashboard, connect a Personal WhatsApp device, Meta Cloud API number or eligible WhatsApp Coexistence number. Send a test message from WebWMS2U before connecting Zapier.
Create an API key
Open the API Keys area in your WebWMS2U dashboard, choose the connected number or device, create an active API key and copy it. The key determines the sending route automatically, so Zapier does not ask you to select Personal, Meta or Coexistence separately.
Add WebWMS2U in Zapier
Create or edit a Zap, add an action step, search for WebWMS2U, select the action you need and click Connect a new account.
Paste the API key
Paste the complete key into Zapier and click Connect. A valid Personal key appears as a personal connection; a Meta Cloud or Coexistence key appears as a Meta connection.
Map your fields and test
Map the recipient number and message information from the Zap trigger. Use an international number such as 60123456789, run the test and confirm the returned WebWMS2U Message ID.

WhatsApp Sending Rules
- Meta Cloud and Coexistence: outside the customer-service window, use an active Meta-approved template.
- Personal connection: Meta template approval is not required, but the device must remain connected.
- Credits: each accepted outbound Zapier message uses one WebWMS2U credit.
- Queued status: confirms acceptance and credit reservation, not final delivery.
- Files: media and document URLs must use HTTPS and be publicly downloadable.
Prevent Duplicate Messages
Map a stable order, booking, payment or event reference into Zapier's Deduplication Key field.
If Zapier retries the same event with the same key, WebWMS2U returns the original queued message instead of charging for another message. Use 8–128 characters containing letters, numbers, dots, underscores, colons or hyphens.
