Linked devices extend the WhatsApp app to Web or Desktop for manual replies. They do not themselves provide the official Cloud API, templates, server integration or Cloud API webhooks.

Coexistence connects an eligible WhatsApp Business App number through Meta onboarding so the app and compatible Cloud API features work together. WebWMS2U can add campaigns, APIs, automation and webhooks.
API-Only Numbers
An API-only number is normally managed through a platform instead of the Business App. Coexistence suits an established number employees must continue using in the app.
